    Upgrade Windows 10 Home (Digital License) to Windows 10

    Pro with a Product Key?

    1. Disconnect totally from the Internet


    2. Open the Settings App (Gear icon on your Starr Menu)
    3. Go to Update and Security / Activation
    4. Click Change Product key

    Enter this generic product key: VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T


    When prompted, click 'Activate Product'

    If the above does not work first time, try again . ..

    Note the generic key will cause the Home edition to upgrade orEnterprise to downgrade to the Pro
    edition, then your own legallicence will activate automatically after you restart (not shutdown) your PC

    5. After completing the steps above, your windows will be changed to Win 10 Pro but that is a
    temporary version (not activated). Now you must enter the Production key (on the DVD or
    bought on store) to activate your windows version.
