Reflection Paper on Vision, Mission, Goals, and Outcomes

Cebu Technological University (CTU) has a clear and ambitious vision, mission, goal,
and outcomes. In my opinion, CTU’s VMGO are all attainable. CTU has a proven track record of
offering top-notch instruction and turning out alumni who are changing the world.

The vision of CTU is ambitious and encouraging. It imagines a university that is

dedicated to addressing the needs of the community and the country while also being at
the cutting edge of innovation and research. The goal of CTU is distinct and precise. It
seeks to equip students with the information and abilities necessary for success in the
global economy as well as for participation in community improvement and social
responsibility.
The aim of CTU is to develop graduates who are well-versed in their fields and
capable of handling the challenges of the future. Although it is a difficult objective, CTU
is dedicated to attaining it. The results of CTU are clear and verifiable. They concentrate
on the graduates that CTU seeks to develop and the global impact that CTU seeks to
make.
In conclusion, I believe that CTU’s VMGO are consistent. They give the
university's future growth a defined road plan. In the Philippines and around the world,
CTU will undoubtedly continue to be a pioneer in technical education and research.
 Reflection Paper on RA 9163

The National Service Training Program (NSTP) Act of 2001, also known as
Republic Act (RA) 9163 is a program aimed at strengthening civic education and
defense preparedness of the Filipino youth. It is instated by the government of the
Philippines on July 23, 2001. All higher education students, both public and private, are
required by law to finish one of the three NSTP components, namely:
 Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC): Conducts military training to help
students become prepared for national defense.
 Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS): This element emphasizes growth and
community service. Students take part in a variety of programs, including health
and education initiatives, environmental protection, and disaster relief.
 Literacy Training Service (LTS): This component emphasizes imparting literacy
and numeracy skills to adults and out-of-school children. In addition to learning
how to become great teachers, students also gain knowledge about the value of
education in eradicating poverty and fostering social advancement.
The NSTP is a beneficial program, in my opinion, for college students. It teaches
young people crucial skills that they can use to benefit their communities and instills in
them a feeling of civic duty and responsibility.
Students can make friends and meet new individuals through the NSTP.
Students from various academic fields and backgrounds get together to work on shared
objectives. This could encourage harmony and comprehension.
In general, I think the NSTP is a worthwhile initiative that can assist students in
growing as responsible and active citizens. It is a good way to meet new people, gain
valuable skills, develop a feeling of civic duty and responsibility, and become aware of
the difficulties encountered by their communities.
