Messenger of Allah )peace and blessings be upon him( said to me, "Have you
not heard the saying of Allah: 'Verily, those who believe and do righteous
deeds, they are the best of creatures'? You, your followers, my appointment,
and your appointment are at the Pond (Al-Hawd) when the nations come for
the reckoning. You will be called while radiant and with marks of
prostration."

Ibn Asakir narrated on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, who said: “We were
with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and Ali came to me,
and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: And By the One
in whose hand is my soul, this man and his followers will be the winners on the
Day of Resurrection. And it was revealed: Indeed, those who believe and do
righteous deeds - those are the best of creation. When the companions of
Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, came, they would say:
The best of creation has come. Ibn Adi and Ibn Asakir narrated on the authority
of Abu Sa’id with a chain of transmission traceable to the Prophet: “Ali is the
best of creation.”

Ibn Mardawayh narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas, who said: “When this
verse was revealed, ‘Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds, those
are the best of humanity.’” Rus said. And by God, may God’s prayers and peace
be upon him, to Ali: “He is you and your followers on the Day of Resurrection,
will be satisfied and well-pleased.”

Verse eleven: God Almighty says: “Indeed, those who believe and do righteous

Al-Hafiz Jamal al-Din al-Zarandi narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas, may
God be pleased with them both, that
When the verse was revealed, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be
upon him, said to Ali (It is you and your Shiites. You and your Shiites will come
on the Day of Resurrection satisfied and satisfied, and your enemy will come
angry and afflicted.) He said, “And who is my enemy?” He said, “Whoever
disavows you and curses you.”

‫أبا سمرة كذا سماه بن عدي وقال له مناكي ثنا الحسن بن عل األهوازي ثنا معمر بن سهل ثنا أحمد ثنا‬
‫رشيك عن األعمش عن عطية عن أب سعيد رض هللا تعال عنه مرفوعا عل خي اليية ويروي عن غي‬
‫أحمد عن رشيك وهذا كذب وإنما جاء عن األعمش عن عطية العوف عن جابر رض هللا تعال عنه قال‬
‫كنا نعد عليا من خيارنا وهذا حق وذكره‬

]562[ “Ahmad” bin Salem bin Khalid bin Jabir bin Samra Kufi narrated in Gurjan
on the authority of Abu Muawiyah Al-Dareer, he was given the nickname Abu
Samra, this is how Ibn Adi called him and said to him “Mankar” Al-Hasan bin Ali
Al-Ahwazi narrated to us Muammar bin Sahl narrated to us Ahmad Sharik
narrated to us on the authority of Al-Amash on the authority of Attiya on the
authority of Abi Saeed, may God Almighty be pleased with him, with a chain of
transmission traceable to the best of creation, and it is narrated on the
authority of other than Ahmad, on the authority of Sharik, and this is a lie.
Rather, it came on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Attiya Al-
Awfi, on the authority of Jabir, may God Almighty be pleased with him. He said,
“We used to consider Ali among our best, and this is true,” and he mentioned
it.

Jabir bin Abdullah said: We were with the Prophet )may God’s prayers and
peace be upon him( and Ali bin Abi Talib came and the Prophet )may God’s

turned to the Kaaba and struck it with his hand. Then he said, “By the One in
whose hand is my soul, this man and his followers will be the winners on the
Day of Resurrection.” Then he said: He is the first of you in faith with me, the
most fulfilling of you in God’s covenant, the most upright of you in God’s
command, the most just of you in his subjects, the most fair of you, and the
greatest of you in the sight of God. He said and it was revealed: “Indeed, those
who believe and do righteous deeds - those are the best of creation.”

In Al-Manaqib: On the authority of Abu Al-Zubayr Al-Makki, on the authority of
Jabir bin Abdullah )may God be pleased with her(. He said:
We were with the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his
family, and he came to me and said: My brother has come to you. Then he
turned to the Kaaba and touched it with his hand.
Then he said: By the One in whose hand is my soul, he and his followers will be
the victorious on the Day of Resurrection.
Then he said: He is the first of you in faith with me, the most fulfilling of you in
God’s covenant, the most upright of you in God’s command, the most just of
you in his subjects, the most sworn of you by a banner, and the most honorable
of you in the sight of God.
He said: Then it was revealed: “Indeed, those who believe and do righteous
deeds are the best of creation.”
He said: When his companions said: Ali, they said: The best of creation has
come.

Jamal al-Din al-Zarandi al-Madani said, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, who said:

It is you and your Shiites. On the Day of Resurrection, you and your Shiites will

al-Dailami, told me about what he wrote to me from Hamadan. Abdus bin

Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Ahmad al-Bazzaz told us in Baghdad. Judge Abu
Abdullah al-Hussein bin Haroun bin Muhammad al-Dhabi told me, Abu Al-
Abbas Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Saeed Al-Hafiz narrated to us that
Muhammad bin Ahmad Al-Qatwani narrated to them, saying: Ibrahim bin Anas
Al-Ansari narrated to us, Ibrahim bin Jaafar bin Abdullah bin Muhammad bin
Maslamah narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Al-Zubayr, on the authority
of Jabir, who said:
We were with the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his
family, and Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him, came and the Messenger of
God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, said: My
brother has come to you. Then he turned to the Kaaba and struck it with his

Abu Ishaq Ibrahim bin Al-Maruzi told me, he said: Abdul Hakim bin Maysara

on the authority of Al-Harith, he said: Ali, peace be upon him, said to me: We
are the people of a household, we are not compared )to people(.
Then a man got up and went to Abdullah bin Abbas )so he mentioned to him
what he heard from Ali, peace be upon him(. Ibn Abbas said: Is Ali truthful or
not? Was the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him and his family,
not comparable to people? Then Ibn Abbas said: This verse was revealed about
Ali: )Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds - those are the best of
creation.(

Ahmad bin Samrah, also known as Abu Samrah, is from the descendants of
Samrah bin Jundab from the people of Kufa. He narrates from trustworthy
narrators and is reliable in transmitting reports that are not subject to
objection. He narrated from Shurayk bin Abdullah, who narrated from Al-
A'mash, who narrated from Atiyyah, who narrated from Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri,
who narrated from the Prophet )peace be upon him(, who said: "Ali is the best
of all creation."

"Al-Hasan bin Ali Al-Ahwazi informed us, Ma'mar bin Sahl informed us, Abu
Samurah Ahmad bin Salim informed us, Shurayk narrated to us from Al-A'mash,
from Atiyyah, from Abu Sa'id, from the Prophet )peace be upon him(, who said:
'Ali is the best of all creation.'"

"I asked Jabir bin Abdullah, 'Who was the best man among you regarding Ali?'
He replied, 'By Allah, Ali is the best of all creation after the Messenger of Allah
)peace be upon him(.'"

‫تأب يوم القيامة أنت وشيعتك راضي مرضيي ر‬
‫ويأب عدوك غضابا‬ ‫ لعل هو أنت وشيعتك ر‬:‫قال‬
‫ ومن عدوي قال من تيأ منك ولعنك‬:‫مقحمي فقال يا رسول هللا‬

Ibn Abbas )may Allah be pleased with him( narrated: When this verse was
revealed, "Verily, those who believe and do righteous deeds, they are the best
of creatures" )Quran, Surah Al-Bayyinah, 98:7( he said, " It is likely that on the
Day of Judgment that you and your followers will come on the Day of
Resurrection while you and your followers are pleased and pleasing to Allah,
and your enemies will come in anger and humiliation." The Prophet )peace be
upon him( then said, "O Messenger of Allah, who are my enemies?" He replied,
"Those who disassociate from you and curse you."
