Customer reports disbond damage to the Exhaust Nozzle inner annulus inner skin at 6 o’clock position. Damage disbond
maximum size is 230mm L (hoop) x 175mm W (longitudinal). Customer seeking a temporary fly-on for 25 FC.

Repair Instruction:
1. Clean the repair area. Use a clean lint-free cloth or brush moistened with solvent. Wipe the surface clean
and dry before the solvent becomes dry. Refer to CMM 78-11-11.
2. Perform Tap Test inspection of the damage and surrounding areas to ensure no additional disbond exists
per NTM 51-10-03 of the damage area If found, contact Collins Aerospace for further disposition.
3. Perform DVI (10X Magnification and sufficient lighting) of the damage and surrounding areas to ensure
no additional damages exists, also no loose or pulled out fasteners are allowed per NTM 51-90-00 of the
damage area. No cracks allowed. If any damage found, contact Collins Aerospace for further disposition.
4. Leave the damage as-is, and perform detail visual and tap test inspections per SRM 54-01-00 at every
inspection interval to ensure that damage size is not increasing and that no cracks are present. If
additional damage is found contact Collisn Aerospace.
