Please Note: The safe load of our hospital bed is 170KGS, and the static load at normal
position of our hospital bed can reach 300KGS, the static load refers to the maximum
load-bearing capacity of the hospital bed.

B: Intended use and scope

This product is expected to be used in the obstetrics and gynecology department of various
hospitals to carry out the human body load of the patients during childbirth and gynecological
examination. This product is suitable for adults whose height ranges from 146cm to 185cm
and weighs no more than 1800N. Not suitable for use in departments other than gynecology.
This product is used in application environment 3 specified in the EN60601-2-52 standard.

This product can be folded back, tilted back and forth, and provides convenient overall
lifting adjustment for nursing staff. The table top leg plate has a sliding extension function,
which can be used as a bearing and handling for newborns. The extended table top with
special soft pads can be used as a hospital bed.

F: Structure feather and its working principle

a) Structure feather

The electric obstetric bed with four castors adopt the central locking system. It can be
divided into three parts, which are the bearing frame, the platform for the mattress and
the connection parts. Each unit bearing system is made of high-quality carbon structural
steel or low alloy structural steel. Frame materials are cold-formed rectangular welded
steel pipes, moving parts material is a square and round steel pipe welded by machining.
Headboard material is high quality ABS engineering plastic and steel components. b)

Working principle.

The manner of brake is cam circumgyration pressure. The simultaneous action of the four
castors is achieved by the chain of transmission power. Function of lift and fall is
performed by a low voltage DC motor as the driving force acting on the spin torque
devices, controlled by hand-held button. The lift of the back board and the lean of the bed
board are controlled by two different motors. The voltage of input electric is AC220v
50HZ (assembled according to the local voltage and frequency for the customers aboard),
though transformer and rectifier, the output of the voltage became DC24V.

This product is allowed to equip with battery according to the requirements of the
customers in case to control when the power fail.

The user should check the product out of the box before using. Firstly, make sure the product
is accord with the contract requirements. Then check whether the accompanying documents
are all ready, and the quality and accessories are accord with the requirements.

On the mattress support table (1 in picture 2), the accessory rail (2 in picture 2) is preset to

Take the leg support lock (7 in picture 2), insert it from one end of the accessory rail, then

indicated by the arrow in the picture. In the hole, after determining the height, turn the star
handle clockwise (1 in picture 2), adjust the lock to the proper position and tighten the fixed
knob (6 in picture 2).

Take the head plate (1 in picture 3), the operator holds the head plate in both hands, and the
coupling card (2 in picture 3) forwards, and aligns the coupling table on one end of the

installation.
J: Preparation before use

Determine the bed’s location before use. The advised placement: the distance of the head of
the sick away from the wall is about 100~150mm, bed body away from both sides of the walls
is 600~800mm, the foot of the sick against the passage. After the location determined, check
whether the voltage on the nameplate is accord with the local voltage. If there is no any
problem, switch on the electric source and try to run it, according to operational guidelines for
no-load operation. Make sure the various parts of barrier-free after the operation and cut off
power supply. Prove that standby power (if any) error-free before the user switch on the
power and use it formally.

c) Move and brake

There are four castors under the bearing frame, which can meet the function of movement,
swerve and brake. The four casters of this product are braked synchronously. When they need
to be moved, the four casters should be in the released state, and the brake pedals at both ends
(15 in picture 4) should be depressed respectively with the "ON" (green) mark at one end, the
product can be moved by manpower at this time. After stopping the movement, the product
must be in the braking state. At this time, the end with the "OFF" (red) mark should be
depressed to the limit position. At this time, the product is in the full braking state. d)
Operation of side rail

The side rail has two states of upright and drooping in normal use. When it is necessary to
change the side rail from upright to drooping, the operator should hold the top of the side rail
with one hand, and pull the square wrench at the lower part of the guardrail with the other
hand to the extreme position. The hand holding the side rail will apply pressure downwards,
and the side rail bracket can rotate 180 degrees. Degree to achieve the purpose of sagging.
When you need to return to the upright state, you only need to hold the top of the side rail
with one hand and lift it up. When it is almost upright, the side rail can be locked and the
operation process is completed.

h) Operation of sliding panel

The sliding panel is the linear guide control, there is locking knob (Picture 5, 16) at the
bottom. When need to carry new baby, loosen the knob to unlock, then pull out leg sliding
board frame (Picture 5,1), when the sliding panels extend outward to the limit location, tighten
locking knob(Picture 5, 16). Together with a much thicker mattress, the patient can be used as
an ordinary bed.

M: Life span and use limit

a) The product is designed to be used for years.

b) If the user stick to use it when its life-span has reached to the limit, the sicker, the user, or
other people will be harmed because of the aging of the material.

N: Abandon measure

When the bed has reached to the life span, the using unit should abandon it. The specific
measure is that: firstly, disinfect it completely, and then send it to the special callback
department separately according to the character of the material. Especially the battery
should be disposed by the special department, or the environment will be polluted.

O: Maintenance and protection

a) The surface of the bed should be kept clean. The components made of ABS, PE, PP are
forbidden to meet the hydrocarbon and chemical solvents. Towels soaked in neutral
detergent can be use to wipe it.

b) Avoid collision and sharp objects scratching surface in order to avoid damage to anti-
corrosion coating.

c) The soft wire should be protected especially. Check whether it is in a danger position
before use each time. The wire is strongly forbidden to be trampled, grinded, sheared,
knotted and chafed. Timely replace it if dielectric are found to be hard and cracked.

d) Regular checks of all moving parts of the connection point used by sales, shaft and
bolts, whether loose or worn, if unusual and timely repair and replacement.

e) Periodic maintenance should be carried out every 3 years. The casters and rotating
friction parts should be disassembled by personnel with professional knowledge, and
then reassembled after adding grease (oil), the second is to add grease (oil) to the
friction points that cannot be touched by the human body.
P: Cleanness and disinfecting

a) The head and foot boards and side rails of this product should be disinfected every 3
days during normal use; the bed body should be disinfected once a week by wiping with
a cotton cloth soaked in 75% alcohol.

B) The cover of the mattress should be disinfected once a week when the sheets are
changed every day. The method is to separate the cover from the sponge, and then soak
the cover in an aqueous chlorine dioxide solution with a concentration of less than 100
ppm for 20 to 30 minutes, and then dry it in the air. Use after room dehydration.

c) The PF bed surface of this product should be thoroughly disinfected every time the
patient is changed. The disinfection method can be immersion in chlorine dioxide
solution, or high-pressure steam and ozone fumigation.

d) After use by infectious patients, in addition to the above procedures, the entire bed must
be thoroughly disinfected after use. The disinfection method is used. Non-metallic parts
are immersed in chlorine dioxide aqueous solution, and metallic parts are vaporized by
ozone or ultraviolet radiation.

e) Hospitals with Disinfection Supply Center (CSSD) institutions can implement operations
in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, disinfection and sterilization cleaning
operating procedures, safety protection principles, infection prevention and control
knowledge.

R: Notice:

a) Put the handle controller on the place beyond reach of the patients without self-care
ability.

b) The bed should be in the state of full brake with the side rail uprightly locked, height of
bed in the lowest and emergency controlling button off when there is no direct nurse care.

c) Two people sitting on the same side or carrying weight beyond its safe load is strongly
banned.

d) Standing on the bed in its state of fold is not allowed.

e) Pulling the wire to move the bed is forbidden.

f) The replacement of the components should be in accord with the material, model and
specification of the product.

g) The operation of the bed will produce electromagnetic interference to the other equipment,
while other devices had no effect on this product.
h) The bed must be disinfected according to the local requirements after used by patients
with infection.

i) The backup power used by this product is a rechargeable battery. There are no strict
maintenance requirements. It is just that after repeated use and the power supply is
restored, the network power supply should be connected in time for supplementary
charging. If it is stored for a long time, it must be supplemented once a month. Charging
time is 8h to ensure battery life. When the battery capacity is found to be less than the
power required for a single action of 5 times, the battery should be replaced.

g) Controller should stay away from the liquid and prevent it from throwing, stepping,
squeezing, and grinding.

k) Prohibit moving on the uneven road.

l) It cannot be used or stored in an environment full of corrosive gas.

m) The maintenance of the equipment should be carried out by the professionals. Cut off the
power before repair it. The electrical outlet must be laid on the walls next to the bed and
the distance away from the ground is less than 500mm or more than 1500mm,

n) When the bed fails to run, cut off the power and repair it by professionals.

o) Operate the castor brake pedal with proper force in case to damage it.

p) The user’ foot is advised to stay away from the castors in case to be rolled.

q) Both the operator and the sick should be avoided to meet the extrusion point of the bed in
case of any harm to the body.

r) Before the patient uses this product, the medical staff or operator must inform the patient
of the function and usage of the emergency stop button (if any). If the emergency stop
button is movable, the operator should place it in a position that is easy for the patient to
control according to the patient's limb function.

s) After this product has been disinfected, the residual disinfectant must be effectively
eliminated. In particular, steel bolts and exposed metal parts will rust when they are
incompletely eliminated after contact with disinfectants.

t) In addition: the product packaging corrugated cardboard, cable ties, plastic film, pads and
end-of-life waste can be recycled or degraded in a centralized manner. Please do not
pollute the environment.

The warranty period of the product is 12 months from the date of purchase. Paid supply of
spare parts in its whole life.
