INTERNATIONAL UNION FOR CONSERVATION OF NATURE

28 Rue Mauverney, CH-1196 Gland, Switzerland

November 7, 2023

Dear Sir/Madam,

(Invitation list attached)

On behalf of the Subnational Climate Fund (SCF), a global blended finance initiative supported by the
Green Climate Fund (GCF), the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) has the
pleasure to extend to you, an invitation to the in-person Indonesia country-focused workshop, taking
place in Jakarta, Indonesia on Friday 10th November 2023 at Makara Ballroom 1, DoubleTree by Hilton
Hotel Jakarta – Diponegoro.

The SCF aims to scale up investment in support of climate mitigation, adaptation and the Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs), by mainstreaming Nature-based Solutions (NbS). It offers investment
opportunities to 42 countries including Indonesia.

The initiative is partially funded by the GCF, and consists of two GCF projects:

(1) Equity Fund (FP152), managed by Pegasus Capital Advisors, invests in equities of sustainable
private or PPP infrastructure and businesses ($ 5-75 million USD in ticket size).
(2) Technical Assistance Facility (FP151), coordinated by the IUCN and implemented in
partnership with Catalytic Finance Foundation and Gold Standard Foundation, provides (i)
project pipeline support, (ii) capacity building, and (iii) certification of climate and SDG
impacts.

The SCF invests in 4 sectors: sustainable energy solutions, waste and water management,
sustainable agriculture, and urban development solutions. For more information, please refer to the
SCF WebPage.

The objective of the country-focused workshop is to introduce the SCF as a blended finance instrument
for climate actions, and facilitate communication among Indonesian stakeholders and the SCF
consortium members on the opportunities for the SCF investment and technical assistance, through
exchanges and networking among national/subnational governments, project developers, investors
and the SCF consortium members.

We invite you to kindly register your participation to the workshop from the following
