Electronic Self-Assessment Tool (SAT-RPMS)

A. Problems/Issues/Concerns Surfaced during the Session

1. How to use the Electronic SAT?
2. How does the E-SAT monitor the improvement of teacher competencies?

B. Recommendations provided by the group

1. Teachers should know how to use the electronic Self-Assessment Tool.
Demonstration of skills in using the SAT-RPMS must be done.
2. School ICT Coordinator should have a data bank of SAT-RPMS for consolidation and
safekeeping. Hard copies should be submitted to the office of the principal.
3. Schedule of consultation with the school principal about the teacher’s development
plan based
on the result of self-assessment should be made.
4. Checking of IPCRF by the school head whether it coincides with the SAT-RPMS must
be
scheduled regularly.

C. Point of Agreement
1. All teachers should have a softcopy of SAT on their laptops.
2. Prepare a checklist of teachers who have submitted their SAT-RPMS.
3. Posted schedule of consultation on teacher’s development plan.
4. Prepare IPCRF with the development plan.

D. Commitment
It is important that the teachers and school heads work collaboratively to promote
professional growth and development in order to attain school goals.
