3.2 Aim of research
The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between gaming
addiction and academic performance among students at Worldstar College of Science and Technology. And to answer these research questions:

performance among Worldstar College of Science and Technology students? - How does the frequency and duration of gaming sessions relate to academic performance? - How do students with gaming addiction navigate their academic responsibilities and gaming habits? 3.3 Methodological approach
In this study, a qualitative approach will be employed to explore the impact
of gaming addiction on the academic performance of Worldstar College of Science and Technology students. A qualitative methodology is suitable for capturing the rich and detailed experiences, perceptions, and perspectives of individuals regarding a complex phenomenon like gaming addiction and its effect on academic performance. The qualitative approach will allow for an in-depth understanding of the subjective experiences and meanings attributed to gaming addiction by the students.
