factors.
d. Share the knowledge about identifying multiple and factors by participating
in group activity.

II. CONTENT

d. Learning Materials: Canva, Illustration, Laptop

III. PRELIMINARIES ACTIVITIES

a. Prayer
b. Greetings
c. Classroom Management
d. Checking of Attendance

IV. MOTIVATION
a. Energizer

V. LESSON PROPER
a. Activity
 The teacher will present an illustration of a basket with an apple then
the student will pick one apple that has a number on it and they will
think of two numbers that if they multiply will have a product result of
the given number.

b. Analysis
 The teacher will ask the students of the following question:
- What have you observed in our activity?
- As a grade 4 student, how would you apply multiplication in your
daily life?
- Do you have idea what is Multiples and Factors?

c. Abstraction
 The Teacher will discuss the identifying Multiples and Factors of a
given number up to 100
 “What is a Multiple of Number?”
- Multiples of a number, are the same number that added repeatedly.

Example: Multiples of 5
5=5
5+5=10
5+5+5=15
5+5+5+5=20
Therefore, the Multiples of 5 is:
5=5,10,15,20…

- Multiple is the product result of one number multiplied by another

number.

Example: Multiples of 4
4x1=4
4x2=8
4x3=12
4x4=16
4x5=20
Therefore, The Multiples of 4 is:
4=4,8,12,16,20…

 "How to get the factors of a number?"

- Multiplying two whole numbers gives a product. The numbers that
we use to multiply are the factors of the product.

Example: Factors of 8
2x4=8
2 and 4 are the factors while 8 is the product
Therefore, The Factors of 8 is 2,4

d. Generalization
 The teacher will ask the students that base on their own understanding
how are they going differentiate the Multiple and Factors.

e. Application
 The teacher will divide the class into four groups.

Group 1: fill the table below with “Yes or No” if the number is a multiple
of 3 or if it’s a factor of 36.
NUMBERS MULTIPLE OF 3 FACTORS OF 36

15 YES NO
13
6
10
4
21
12

Group 2: Using the Venn diagram below identify nine multiples of 12

and 18 then List down their common multiples.
Multiples of 12 Multiples of 18

Group 3: Will make a short role play about how the Multiples or Factors
is being apply in our daily life.

Group 4: Will create a short yell about the topic of discussion and they
will perform it in the class.

f. Evaluation
 Identify what is being asked in each question.
1. Circle the numbers below which are Multiples of 4:
22 34 32 28 14 41 44
2. Circle the numbers below which are Factors of 20:
1 2 5 10 12 20 40
3. Can you find the Factors of 9? _ , _ , _
4. Can you find four Multiples of 25? _ , _ , _ ,_
5. Find the least common Multiple of 12 and 18.

VI. ASSESSMENT
 Write T if the statement is true and F if the statement is false.
1. Factors are the product result of one number multiplied by another
number.
2. The number we multiply to produce a product is the Factors.
3. The Multiples of 2 is 2,4,6,8,10.
4. The Factors of 10 is 1, 2, 5, 10.
5. 8 is the Multiple of 24.
6. Multiple are the product result of one number multiplied by another
number.
7. 5 has only two Factors.
8. 1 is the Factor of every number.
9. In finding Multiple numbers you can use addition and multiplication
method.
10. Addition method can be used to find factors.

VII. Assignment
 Bring your math module.
