Default settings
# 1 „Mode“ 3
# 2 „Pump“ 0 / 1 / 3*
# 3 „Brush“ 6

Universal control board III

For information on connecting the inputs and outputs, please refer to the circuit diagram.
The control board is equipped with a 7-segment display and various LED indicators for the fault analysis
(see chap. 2.1 and 2.2).
Two rotary encoder switches (Hex switches) are used to set the parameters:

Function selection
1 = # 1 „Mode“ Operating mode in entrance direction (see chap.1.1)
2 = # 2 „Pump“ Runtime of chemical pump (see chap.1.2)
3 = # 3 „Brush“ Runtime of brushes (see chap.1.3)
4 = # 4 „Fade out time“ Reflection light scanner blanking time (see chap. 1.4)
F = Test operation Test of service and empty messages (see chap.1.5)

Setting of the respective parameter (see chap. 1.1 to 1.5)

1. Use the left-hand hex switch to select the function.

The 7-segment display shows the selected function (1, 2 ,3, 4 or F, see table above).
2. Use the right-hand hex switch to set the parameter.
The 7-segment display shows the set parameter an (0 - F, see chap. 1.1 to 1.5).
3. Save the parameter by moving the left-hand hex switch to another (any) position (e.g. turn one
notch further).
4. Finally, set both hex switches to “0” (otherwise no function is possible).

2 TROUBLESHOOTING
2.1 Fault analysis on the basis of the 7-segment display
The control board has a 7-segment display.
On the basis of this display, various operating and fault states can be analyzed. In
normal operation, the display shows the current program number. The decimal point
flashes when one or more actuators (outputs switched) are active.
If the segment display flashes, there is a fault, which you can analyze using the
following table.
