1. To form comparatives and superlatives you need to know the number of syllables in the
adjective. Syllables are like "sound beats".
Comparatives are used to compare two things Superlatives are used, to show the difference
or people. between more than two things or people.
My brother is the faster of the group.
She is taller than her sister. Paris is the biggest city in France.
My house is bigger than yours.

The Rules To Form Comparatives And Superlatives:


One syllable adjective Comparative —add 'r' Superlative — add 'st'
ending in a silent 'e' — nice — nicer — nicest
