Three Landscape Photos

The intention of taking this picture was to


capture the Ontario Legislative Building.
This photo was taken in Queen’s Park. The
shot was taken from a low angle to
capture the entire building in the frame.
Settings I used for this picture: Grid for
framing to follow the rule of thirds, 24mm
f1.78, ISO 100. Moreover, the shot was
taken in 36MP. If you look at the picture
closely you can see it has a very good
leading line which gives us a deep depth
of field. The aperture of this photo was
also deep. Lastly the direction of the light
was from behind the camera which made
the picture bright and made this a perfect
shot.

The intention of taking this picture was to


experiment capturing a good depth of field which
makes a good leading line. In, this picture, the car
was moving towards left. I think this was an okay
shot because I was successful to capture the
leading lines but the lighting was from the left side
which makes this photo a little dark and as you can
see it creates a shadows. Settings I used for this
picture: Grid for framing to follow the rule of thirds,
24mm f1.78, ISO 80. Moreover, the shot was taken
in 9MP.
The intention of taking this picture was to capture the calm
seashore. This photo was taken in Bluffers Park. The shot
was taken from a low angle and the shore was used as a
frame. Settings I used for this picture: Grid for framing to
follow the rule of thirds, 24mm f1.78, ISO 80, ev 1.4.
Moreover, the shot was taken in 12MP. If you look at the
picture closely you can see it has a very good deep depth of
field. The aperture of this photo was also deep. Lastly the
direction of the light was from the top of the camera which
made the picture bright and made this a perfect shot.

One Coloured Light Photo

The intention of taking this picture was to


capture the colourful lights. The shot was
taken from a mid angle to capture the
different lights in the frame. Settings I used for
this picture: Grid for framing to follow the rule
of thirds, 42mm f1.8, ISO 320, ev -1.1.
Moreover, the shot was taken in 12MP.. The
aperture of this photo was also deep. Lastly,
the direction of the light was from the front of
the camera which made the picture unique
and made this a perfect shot.
Two Portrait Photos

The intention of taking this picture was to


capture the Peace Officer. This photo was taken
in Queen’s Park. This shot was captured in
portrait mode. Also,the shot was taken from a
mid angle to make the shot of the the officer
precisely. Settings I used for this picture: Grid
for framing to follow the rule of thirds, 77mm
f2.8, ISO 32. Moreover, the shot was taken in
9MP. If you look at the picture closely you can
see it has a very high aperture which gives us a
shallow depth of field The exposure of this
photo was 0.3. Lastly the direction of the light
was from the top of the camera which made the
picture bright and made this a perfect shot.

The intention of taking this picture was to


capture the Statue. This photo was also
taken in Queen’s Park. This shot was
captured in portrait mode. Also,the shot
was taken from a low angle to capture the
entire statue in the frame. Settings I used
for this picture: Grid for framing to follow
the rule of thirds, 48mm f1.78, ISO 64.
Moreover, the shot was taken in 9MP. If you
look at the picture closely you can see it
has a very small aperture which gives us a
deep depth of field. Lastly the direction of
the light was from behind the camera
which made the picture bright and made
this a perfect shot.
Two Action Shots
The intention of taking this picture was to
capture an action shot of the students
walking. This photo was taken in University
of Toronto.The shot was taken from a mid
angle. Settings I used for this picture: Grid
for framing to follow the rule of thirds,
24mm f1.78, ISO 80. Moreover, the shot
was taken in 12MP. If you look at the
picture closely you can see it has a very
good leading line which gives us a deep
depth of field. Also, the shot was taken
with a fast shutter speed of 1/600.The
exposure of this photo was 0.3ev. Lastly
the direction of the light was from the right
side of the camera which made the picture
bright.

The intention of taking this picture was to capture an action shot with a slow shutter speed.
This photo was taken in Danforth.The shot was taken from a mid angle. Settings I used for
this picture: Grid for framing to follow the rule of thirds, 24mm f1.78, ISO 1000. Moreover,
the shot was taken in 6MP. If you look at the picture closely you can see it has a very good
leading line which gives us a deep depth of field. Also, the shot was taken with a very slow
shutter speed of 1/30.The exposure of this photo was low. Lastly, the direction of the light
was from the right side of the camera which made the picture a worthy shot.
Two Branded Photos
This picture clearly advertises it’s company.
The only thing that is in it’s focal point is the
logo of the company and the drink which
makes it even more obvious. Also, the
background is kind of blurred out making the
subject to be focused on. The light exposure,
focal point, saturation is perfect on this shot.
Moreover, it also follows the rule of thirds
because as you can see the picture is a bit of
the right side of the frame. Settings I used for

Moreover, the shot was taken in 12MP.
Lastly, it’s precision makes this picture
suitable of a company achievement.

The intention behind taking this picture was to


promote a drink. Settings I used for this

blurred making this the main subject of the
picture. The focal point was on the drink and
the background is blurred making this a
worthy shot for a company.
