The term drug is closely related to compounds that have an addictive effect on

users. The dangers of drugs not only have a physical impact but also disturb the
mental or mental health of drug addicts, therefore drug dealers and users must
be eradicated.

For addicts, the dangers of drugs do not only arise from physical problems but
also mental disorders.

There are many impacts of drug abuse that will emerge

First, drugs cause hormonal imbalances in the user's body. One example is the effect of
cocaine on dopamine levels in the human brain. When someone uses cocaine, their
brain is flooded with dopamine. This chemical process makes them feel happy for no
reason. This is why once someone tries drugs, they will tend to use them again in the
future because they want to feel the sensation again. The more often a person takes this
drug, the stronger the brain registers this condition as a normal level of dopamine in the
brain.

Second, drugs can cause users to commit serious crimes such as robbery and theft. The
chemicals in a drug can cause addiction in the user's body. This means that once a
person uses drugs, he or she will start asking for more. The problem arises when they
don't have enough money to buy additional supplies. They can't just sit back and do
nothing, because it is their body that is asking for more, so even though their mind is
telling them to stop, the urge to introduce this dangerous substance into their system is
simply irresistible.

third, if viewed from the perspective of Islamic law, drugs are haram. Because it causes
ugliness, harms oneself, weakens. And Islam forbids everything that can cause evil,
harm oneself because it is unjust.

fourth, there is no going back to being one hundred percent yourself once you take
drugs. There are many damaging compounds used in a drug. Once we drink it, it will
start to destroy our body internally. Even if we decide to stop using drugs, the damage to
our internal organs remains forever. So we can't go back to the way things were before
we used drugs.

It is clear to us now that there are many negative effects of drug use.
So from now on we have to be wary of drugs, because they are very dangerous, both in
terms of health, religion (Islam), nationality and state.
