Presente simple: rutinas, hechos habituales y verdades científicas.


Adverbios de frecuencia: USUALLY, NEVER, HARDLY EVER, SOMETIMES.
Presente continuo: a lo que está pasando cuando hablamos, es decir, este momento. (-
ando- endo)
Presente perfecto: de transición, donde no se hace referencia a cuando paso algo, sino
a lo que paso. (HAVE + VERB EN ED, VERB 3COLUMNA)

PASADO:
Pasado simple: se usa para hacer referencia a cualquier hecho que empezó y termino
en el pasado. Es decir, tuvo un inicio y un final.
RESPONDER AL CUANDO PASÓ.
I was born in 1999. Yo nací en 1999.
Adverbios temporales:
Yesterday, in (fecha), last (month, week, day), ago (a few years ago, 4 weeks ago)

Estructura gramatical: es como nosotros hacemos oraciones en inglés.

(+) = S+V+C

Sujetos: I, you, we, they, he, she, it.

ELLA TOMÓ UN HELADO.

SHE (S) drunk (V) an icecream (C)

She drinks an icecream.

Hay dos tipos de verbos:

Regulares: no sufren modificaciones, es decir, para pasarlo a pasado simple, se toma el verbo
de base (en infinitivo) y se le agrega ED.

PLAY = PLAYED

WATCH = WATCHED

Irregulares:

GO= WENT

DRINK = DRUNK

MAKE= MADE
(-) = S+ AUX - + V+ C

I didn´t drink an icecream

(¿?) = AUX+S+V+C+?

Did you drink an icecream yesterday?

Yes, I did.

No, I didn´t.

Where did you buy it? (Donde lo compraste? Al helado) [What, who, how, which, why]

Auxiliar: DID lo usamos para todos los sujetos, no cambia para he, she, it (COMO SI PASABA EN
EL PRESENTE SIMPLE donde usamos does)

I didn´t drink an icecream

Did + not = ORACIONES NEGATIVAS

WAS y WERE = IS, AM, ARE

Verbo to be = ser o estar

PRESENTE:

AM = I

IS = HE, SHE, IT

ARE= YOU, WE, THEY

PASADO:

WAS: I, he, she, it

WERE: You, we, they

S+V+C

Ella era feliz: She was happy.


S+V NOT+C

Ella no era feliz: She wasn´t happy (she was not happy)

V+S+C+?

Was she happy?

Yes, she was.

No, she wasn´t.

Why she wasn´t happy? Por que ella no era feliz?

Because she didn´t have any Friends.

Where was she in the afternoon?

She was at the gym / in the gym.

She was at home.
