El Salvador has cracked down on gangs and built a large prison, and as a result has become one of the safest countries with the first Google Cloud office in Latin America.     ‭ACCAS 2024 Speech‬

    ‭Formal thanks to the chair and delegates present for giving the floor to the‬
    ‭delegation of the Republic of El Salvador.‬

    ‭In the world, one of the biggest problems we face is human trafficking, and‬
    ‭one of its major causes is illegal immigration‬‭. They‬‭are promised a better life in‬
    ‭another nation but are trapped inside by inhumane, cold-hearted hypocrites.‬
    ‭Whoever violates human rights should be punished. El Salvador has declared war on‬
    ‭gangs and created the largest prison in the Americas, which can hold up to 40,000‬
    ‭inmates, the‬‭Center for the Confinement of Terrorism‬‭.‬‭El Salvador has now become‬
    ‭one of the safest countries in the world, and the first Google Cloud office in Latin‬
    ‭America is going to be established there.‬

    ‭Certain ways human trafficking and illegal immigration could be stopped can‬
    ‭include, recognizing the signs of trafficking and reporting any concerns, spreading‬
    ‭awareness and volunteering for anti trafficking organizations. In addition, the‬
    ‭police force can be reinforced. The Fund for Greater Security and Police Force‬
    ‭(FGSPF) can be created. Every country and person (who is willing) can donate an‬
    ‭amount. It will be administered and dispersed equally to all delegations. Then, they‬
    ‭will spend the funds on the police force. It will be sponsored by social media in apps‬
    ‭like Instagram, Facebook and Youtube. Actions can be implemented but only if the‬
    ‭United‬‭NATIONS‬‭work together.‬

    ‭Just as Pope Paul the VI said “‬‭“Justice is not always‬‭an open and shut case –‬
    ‭sometimes we have to work for it. If you want peace, you must work for justice.”‬
