Capstone Blog Update #2 Armand Deu

Throughout these past 1.5 weeks prior to capstone update #1, working on my capstone has
been a slow but successful process. Following these past few weeks, I’ve filmed how to
change your cabin air filter, and I’ve also filmed how to refill your window washer fluid, and I
have almost finished editing these videos. I’ve also started filming two new videos which
consist of how to change and how to do an oil change, I’ve also started to film how to
change your headlight bulb/fog lights. At the end of the week I hope to accomplish these
videos and start editing in preparation to uploading to TikTok. Again, some obstacles I’ve
encountered would be that in my auto class, the lifts are always being taken so its near
impossible to work on videos that require me to go under the car, I'm resolving this issue by
doing these videos at home because I have all the tools and jacks/jack stands required for
the job at hand. Within these past few weeks and in between filming these videos this
week, the core competencies I’ve applied would be critical thinking. Specifically speaking
critical thinking because when I was doing the oil change I came across many rusted bolts
that were seized and were unable to come out regularly, so I had to critical think and take
the torch to them to free them, this also falls under the challenges encountered section as I
needed to think outside the box and resolve the issue at hand. My next weeks plans are to
hopefully start another two to three videos because it’s a 4 day weekend and I will have a
lot of time on hand to grind.
