09 Language
The official language of Brazil is Portuguese. While many people in
Sao Paulo speak English, it’s always helpful to learn a few basic
phrases in Portuguese to communicate with locals.

10 Currency
The currency used in Brazil is the Brazilian Real (BRL).
It’s a good idea to have some local currency on hand for
small purchases, as not all places accept credit cards.

11 Tipping
Tipping customs can vary from country to country. In Brazil, tipping is
generally expected for good service in restaurants, bars, and cafes,
especially in touristy or business areas. Tips are also appreciated in
hotels, serviced apartments, spas, salons, and other places where staff
may not be as well rewarded. As a general rule, it's customary to tip
around 10% of the bill
