Estimated Date: October 12, 2023

Narrative Report

On the estimated date of October 12, 2023, a geography-themed educational

activity was organized by Ms. Allysa Angel S. Parba for elementary pupils. The primary
objective of this activity was to enhance the students' understanding of world geography
through interactive and hands-on learning.

Prior to the activity, Ms. Allysa Angel S. Parba prepared geography world map
place mats for each participating student. These place mats were designed to be both
informative and engaging, featuring a detailed world map, continents, countries, and
important geographical landmarks.

The activity began with a brief introduction to the importance of geography and
maps in understanding our world. Students were excited to participate, and their
curiosity was evident from the start.

1. Distribution of Place Mats

Each student was given a geography world map place mat, along with a set of colored
markers, pencils, and a list of instructions on how to complete the activity.

2. Coloring and Labeling

The students were encouraged to color the continents and oceans on their place mats
using the provided markers. This hands-on approach allowed them to visually connect
with the geographical features of the world. They were also instructed to label major
countries and oceans.

3. Interactive Learning
During the activity, students asked questions about different countries, their locations,
and interesting facts about them. This provided an opportunity for discussion and further
learning. Teachers and volunteers facilitated these discussions, helping to expand the
students' knowledge.

4. Sharing and Presentation

After completing their place mats, students had the chance to share their work with their
peers. They proudly presented their creations, highlighting interesting facts about the
countries they had labeled and colored.

5. Reflection
The activity concluded with a reflection session where students discussed what they
had learned and how the place mat activity helped them understand geography better.

The geography world map place mat activity was a resounding success.
Students not only enjoyed the creative aspect of coloring and designing their place mats
but also gained a deeper appreciation for world geography. It provided them with a
tangible tool for future reference and study.

In conclusion, the geography world map place mat activity proved to be an

effective and enjoyable way to teach elementary pupils about world geography. This
activity made pupils curious and excited to learn about different countries and cultures
worldwide. It's a great way to give students a complete education and prepare them for
a world where everything is connected.
