Prior to the activity, Ms. Allysa Angel S. Parba prepared geography world map
place mats for each participating student. These place mats were designed to be both
informative and engaging, featuring a detailed world map, continents, countries, and
important geographical landmarks.
The activity began with a brief introduction to the importance of geography and
maps in understanding our world. Students were excited to participate, and their
curiosity was evident from the start.
3. Interactive Learning
During the activity, students asked questions about different countries, their locations,
and interesting facts about them. This provided an opportunity for discussion and further
learning. Teachers and volunteers facilitated these discussions, helping to expand the
students' knowledge.
5. Reflection
The activity concluded with a reflection session where students discussed what they
had learned and how the place mat activity helped them understand geography better.
The geography world map place mat activity was a resounding success.
Students not only enjoyed the creative aspect of coloring and designing their place mats
but also gained a deeper appreciation for world geography. It provided them with a
tangible tool for future reference and study.
