Missed our last meeting of Zinnov Toastmasters Club?

It was an exciting meeting with the

installation of our new Executive Committee of Zinnov Toastmasters Club and a lot of great
speeches.

Following are the minutes of Zinnov Toastmasters Meeting #126:

 The meeting started with Sergeant at Arms TM Shruti addressing the rules of the meeting.
 Then we had the outgoing address of our previous term Zinnov Toastmaster Club President
TM Mohini where she shared her views on how the club has grown in the last 6 months and
will continue to advance with the help of all our fellow club members.
 Post this, our Area Director TM Somik Bhattacharya welcomed and installed, the next term’s
executive committee members of the Toastmasters Club.
 After the installation ceremony, Zinnov Toastmaster Club’s New President TM Sindhuja gave
here address and called out various ways through which we can make toastmaster meetings
more engaging, help its members build speaker capabilities and increase focus on meetings
with various global toastmaster clubs.
 After that, TMOD TM Kinjal introduced the theme of the meeting “Hope to Last” and called
upon GE TM Gautham K to stat his evaluation criteria and introduce the tag team.
 We saw toastmasters from various other clubs taking up role in Zinnov Toastmaster
meeting: TM Samarth from Transcend Toastmaster Club (Timer), TM Akriti from Transcend
Toastmaster Club (Grammarian) and TM Celeste from Anguilla Toastmaster Club (Evaluator
1).
 126th Toastmaster Club meeting was divided into two sections: Prepared Speeches and
Evaluation.
 First prepared speech was given by TM Manas on the title “The Icebreaker” and was
evaluated by TM Celeste. Second prepared speech was given by TM Shravan on the title
“Conservation and Power of right way of questioning” and was evaluated by TM Shruti.
 After the prepared speeches, a detailed report was presented by General Evaluator,
Evaluator 1, Evaluator 2 and the Tag Team on the speeches given by TM Manas and TM
Shravan.
 Post the evaluations, voting was done for the best role takers. Results are shown below:
o Best Speaker – TM Manas
o Best Evaluator – TM Shruti
o Best Role Taker – TM Kinjal (TMOD)
o Best Auxiliary role taker – TM Akriti, Transcend Toastmasters (Grammarian)
 The meeting ended with an address from Club President TM Sindhuja and distribution of
best role takers certificate.

With that, we had a great 126th Toastmaster meeting and look forward to seeing you in the next
meeting on 16th July 2020.
