B. Toby of 5 Modern Studies.

1. Two (2) activities that Caribbean counties can do to promote eco / nature tourism is;
• Volunteer holidays where visitors can sign up to help protect fruit trees and flowers and
repair trails, work in gardens or grow coffee.
• Using Feng Shui concepts, cabanas were constructed with locally found materials such
as mahogany, bamboo and coralline stone.

2. Two (2) activities for heritage tourism are;

• Giving plantation tours of the Great Houses, etc... As given in Jamaica
• Enabling national Carnival and/or festival related activities where tourist can participate
in as done in Trinidad & Tobago.

3. Caribbean counties can benefit widely from different verities of tourism products
because;
• With a wider range of goods and services available for experience, visitors can stay
longer and invest more cash to gain the country more foreign income.
• They will learn more about the history and culture of the Caribbean as tourists come
and encounter more products, and as tourists go back home, they will talk about their
experiences and this will help the Caribbean become better known and get more tourists
