Bipolar Disorder

Bipolar disorder, sometimes known as manic depression, is a type of mental


disorder where people experience periods of extreme lows, known as
depression, as well as periods of extreme highs, or manic episodes.
Dramatic shifts in mood energy and emotions.

Types of bipolar disorder


There are two major types of Bi-polar:
 Bi-polar I disorder:
The person face shifts in episode of mania, hypomania and depression
this condition is under” Bi-polar I disorder”. This type is more serious.
 Bi-polar II disorder:
This type is not severe as bi-polar I disorder, in this person gets shifts
in depressive and maniac episodes.

It is quiet important for all of us to know about what is bipolar disorder . This

more researches and detail studies.

Aim Of Survery:

The objective of the survey is to obtain knowledge and opinions about bipolar
disorder. By conducting this survey, we seek to gain a deeper understanding of the
needs, struggles, and experiences of people with bipolar disorder. The survey will
assist us in enhancing education, assistance, and resources for those who are
impacted by this condition.

Methodlogy & Material:


Survey is the technique, used to aware common people to acquire knowledge
of certain topic which is

“Bi-polar disorder (BD)”, which is a very sensitive one and having proper
information about it is

important to identify condition of persons in your circle to guide them before its
too late.

Results:
This study comprises a survey about awareness of bipolar disorder among
the people of Karachi, Pakistan. This survey highlights the views of the public
about bipolar disorder, its symptoms, preventions, medications, and the
influence of COVID-19 on augmenting bipolar disorder. This research can be
beneficial for other researchers and public health epidemiologists to eradicate
this disorder.
