Attempt one of the following projects. Word limit of the project is 3000 words. Plagiarism
will be checked. Font size should be 11 and font face Times New Roman. For heading it can
be 14 and Bold.

1. (a) Imagine you are Juana and you have lost everything due to the massacres of society. Write
down a speech from Juana’s point of view in which you are going to discuss all the aspects of
society and lessons that life has taught you during and after the tragedy.
(b) Think and then pick 30 words that are essential to understand “The Alchemist”. Give
explanation why you picked these words and how these words helped you to develop
understanding.
(c) From all the movies you have seen in last couple of years, pick any five of them and
recommend your favorite character from the alchemist to watch. Give a brief summary of the
movie and explain why you think it should be watched by that character.

2. (a) Imagine you are Santiago and you have found treasure. Now you are invited in a talk show
where you have to discuss your journey, how Santiago found treasure, how he transformed and
how luck helped him. Along with this you have to explain the idea of understanding language of
world and beginner’s luck keeping in view the alchemist.
(b) Pick one of your favorite characters from novels (The Alchemist and The Pearl) and select a
dream vacation place for your character where you think he/she would love to go. First
describe that place and then explain that why you think he or she would want to go there.
Write about what he or she would do each day there (activities). Discuss why you think that
activity is interesting and character would enjoy it.
(c) Create a piece of writing in which you will explain major issues (The Pearl and The
Alchemist) according to your point of view. And if you would be the hero of novel how you
resolve these issues to reach your destination.
