THE CONCEPT NOTE

TOPIC: TO CREATE THE AWARENESS OF EMOTIONAL ABUSE ON A CHILD

MOTIVATION:

Having been curious with my personality as a child, failure to understand why I constantly
experienced feelings of anger, rage and loneliness while growing up, a long search begun wanting to
know why I felt the way I felt and responded the way I responded because I knew something was
wrong with me, thus a self-discovery journey enhanced, through various experiences from different
families where I was constantly exposed to quarrels, threats, yelling, beating and Isolation as the
only discipline method, I felt helpless, self- pity and doubted myself which caused me to perform
poorly, affected my relationships as well as my focus to anything.

it’s from this background of experience that my hunger for knowledge was drawn making me curious
to understand myself, then what I can do to change my personality because deep inside I felt I was
meant for more and can become better to improve the lives of families with children having the same
experiences.

PURPOSE:

The main purpose is to create the awareness of emotional abuse from my experiences but again to
show the victims in families, society and nation that there’s untapped power within them that can
only be identified by knowing who they are to deal with whatever issues faced to gain back their
power and control to drive their lives other than allowing environments drive them. The knowledge of
knowing that a good nation comes from stable families propels me to have an extensive research on
how this power within an individual could be tapped to help solve any form of domestic violence in
families.

OBJECTIVES:

1) To Understand Self as a tool to solve emotional abuse in a Child
