How to Display A "Legal Entity" in the "Bank Account Owner" List of Values

Goal

How to display a "Legal Entity" in the "Bank Account Owner" List of Values (LOV) during creation of a bank
account?

Solution

You can add the Legal entity to the list of values by going to the "Bank Account Maintenance Security"
setup.
In 'Bank Account Maintenance Security' setup, one or more 'Legal Entities' can be assigned to each
responsibility via the "Cash Management Security Wizard".
The 'Bank Account Owner' LOV will display only those legal entities that are assigned to a responsibility
through this security setup.

In order to accomplish this, execute the following steps :

1. Login as the System Administrator user

2. Responsibility: User Management
3. Navigation:Roles & Role Inheritance
4. In the "Search" section, query with the following setting :-

Name : <the_responsibility_to_which_Legal_Entity_needs_to_be_assigned>

5. Click "Go".
6. Once the responsibility is displayed, click "Update" icon corresponding to that responsibility.
7. In the "Update Role" page, click "Security Wizards" button.
8. In the 'Security Wizards' page, click "Run Wizard" icon corresponding to "CE UMX Security wizard" to
execute the 'Cash Management Security Wizard' mentioned above.
9. In the "Bank Account Security Management" page, click "Add Legal Entities" button.
10. In the 'Search' section, query with the following setting :-

Name : <the_Legal_Entity_that_needs_to_be_assigned_to_the_responsibility>

11. Click 'Go'.

12. Select the 'Legal Entity'.
13. In the "Bank Account Grants" section, check the appropriate check box as applicable :-

◦ Use : Select to assign the legal entity to "Bank Account Use Security"
◦ Maintenance : Select to assign the legal entity to 'Bank Account Maintenance Security'
◦ Bank Account Transfers : Select to assign the legal entity to "Bank Account Transfers
Security"

14. Click "Apply" to save the changes.

15. Now check the 'Bank Account Owner' LOV during creation of a bank account and you will find that
the assigned 'Legal Entity' is displayed.
