AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE OFFICIAL SEAL OF BARANGAY TUMAPON, BOAC,

MARINDUQUE

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Barangay of Tumapon, Boac, Marinduque, in

session assembled:

SECTION 1. TITLE

This ordinance shall be known as the "Ordinance Adopting the Official Seal of
Barangay Tumapon, Boac, Marinduque."

SECTION 2. PREAMBLE

WHEREAS, the adoption of an official seal is crucial to establishing the identity and
representation of Barangay Tumapon;

WHEREAS, a proposed design for the official seal has been presented, and due
consideration has been given to the input of barangay officials and constituents;

NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Barangay of Tumapon, Boac,

Marinduque, that:

SECTION 3. ADOPTION OF THE OFFICIAL SEAL

The proposed design for the official seal of Barangay Tumapon, as attached hereto and
marked as "Annex A," is hereby adopted as the official seal of the barangay.

The official seal is described as follows:

BLUE LINES: is the blue color in the seal symbolizes peace, truth, and justice. It
represents the aspiration for a harmonious and just society

RED LINES: is symbolized the hope and love in the society

WHITE COLOR: symbolized the purity in service

GREEN SHADES: symbolized that the BARANGAY TUMAPON is an agricultural sector

that promotes green and clean environment

RISING SUN: the rising sun means for new opportunities and possibilities.it suggests
that each day brings a chance for growth, success, and positive change.

COCONUT TREE: IT IS PART OF THE LOGO BECAUSE IT IS ONE OF THE MAIN

CROPS IN THE BARANGAY
SECTION 4. IMPLEMENTATION

The Punong Barangay , HON. JAYSON O. LARA is hereby authorized to oversee the
proper implementation of the official seal in all barangay-related documents,
materials, and signage.

The seal shall be affixed to official documents, including but not limited to, barangay
resolutions, ordinances, certifications, and official correspondence.

SECTION 5. EFFECTIVITY

This ordinance shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its approval and posting in
accordance with existing laws and regulations.

SECTION 6. REPEALING CLAUSE

All ordinances, rules, regulations, or parts thereof inconsistent with the provisions of
this ordinance are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.

SECTION 7. APPROVAL

This ordinance was approved on [Date], during the regular session of the Sangguniang
Barangay, with a majority vote of [Number] in favor, [Number] opposed, and [Number]
abstaining.
