• What additional information have you learned? Provide three important learnings for today.

Additional information i have learned from this subject is first, Vitamins are essential organic
compounds that play crucial roles in maintaining overall health. Second, i got to learned about the
nutrition therapy fot Metabolic Eye diseases, nutrition therapy can complement medical treatments
and lifestyle changes in the management of metabolic eye diseases. If left untreated, possible
outcome would be nutritional blindness. And lastly, understanding the visual pathway helps us
appreciate how our brains transform light into the rich and detailed visual experience we encounter
daily and it also highlights the complexity of visual processing and the importance of various brain
regions in this remarkable process.

• What has been refreshed? Pointed out and clarified on my end?

My knowledge about Vitamins and to appreciate the importance and role of nutrition more in
everyone's health has been refreshed in our discussions. By appreciating the importance of nutrition,
individuals can make informed choices about their dietary habits, promote better health, and reduce
the risk of preventable health conditions. I wanted to point ou that nutrition is a cornerstone of well-
being and should be a central focus of a healthy lifestyle.

Information that I want to expound more on is about the ocular nutritional supplements since
it have gained popularity in recent years as people seek ways to support and maintain their eye health.
These supplements typically contain a blend of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other
compounds believed to promote good vision and prevent eye conditions. They can also provide
guidance tailored to individual needs, medical history, and potential contraindications, ensuring the
safe and effective use of these supplements for the maintenance of good vision and eye health.
