LAWS AND LEGISLATION

REFLECTION 1.
Based on the discussion which is the legal issues in Education,
for me Policies allow the schools to identify laws, legislation,
procedures and protocols. Both of these are important to make
a school run smoothly and safely and to ensure a quality
education for students. There are many reasons schools have
policies. Policies create rules and regulations to govern appropriate
conduct and ensure that students, teachers and school staff are
protected in the school setting. School policies also help to
create an environment for positive learning. Students, teachers
and workers deserve to feel physically and mentally secure in
their surroundings. This is achieved by the implementation of
programs such as anti-bullying measures and recommendations
on mental health.
In modern education, student discipline is becoming
much more of a concern. It's crucial that you know what your
students can and cannot do to discipline them. By disciplining
and learning right ways can gain knowledge and enlarge their view
over the world. As a teacher, you’ll make a difference in the lives of
children, make your community a better place to live, and have a
rewarding, purpose-driven career.
