Using a wooden splint:
1. Touch the leaflets of a makahiya (mimosa) plant then observe what will happen.
2. Touch the edge of a millipede ( an arthropod) then observe what will happen.
Think this over: Can a piece of rock or metal behave the same way the makahiya plant and
the millipede behave? Why?
