Ltd., Vizag Steel Plant, Miniratna, Public Sector Enterprise as Junior

Manager(Mechanical), Assistant Manager (Mechanical) and Deputy

Manager (Foundry and Forge Shop) with a manpower of 10 Executives,

28 junior executives and 230 technical staff for a period of 100 months.

He undergone a specialized executive training in NLMK, third largest

Steel Plant in the World for five month in 1986. Prof. Muralidhar’s research

profile includes four Ph.D dissertation in Cloud manufacturing,

Ergonomics for Indian Industry, Industry 4.0 and 3-D printing Laser

welding, twelve M.Tech.(Computer Integrated Manufacturing) thesis

and several B.Tech. projects supervised. He assisted in evaluation and

defence seminars of nine Ph.Ds for NITs, and Universities. Around 165

research publications in World. International and National Journal and

Conferences and 70 Conferences attended in India and Japan, South

Korea, P.R. China, Bangladesh and Slovenia(EU). His Research projects

worth of Rs. 200 millions (TEQIP, NEQIP, DST, MoMSME) completed. Prof.

Muralidhar was member (BoM), NERIST for six years, Dean (Planning and

Development), HoD (Mechanical Engineering) twice, Head (Center for

Appropriate Technology and Rural Development) prior to joining as

Director, NERIST. Prof. Muralidhar has been associated with several

professional duties FIIPE, LISTE, LIIW, MIIF, MAMM, MIMA, and SMIRED. He

was awarded prizes in Running, Volley ball, Badminton, Cricket ball

throw, Telugu recitation, topper in SSC and IPE. He was also awarded

State Merit Scholarship, M.Tech. Fellowship and Ph.D. QIP Fellowship
