Factory Description Established in 1999, Knit Asia Ltd. commenced operations
with a solitary garment manufacturing unit in Ashulia, Shofipur,
and Ratanpur. It specializes in manufacturing conventional
RMG units with the versatility of fabric and functionality of
vertically integrated printing and embroidery, It accumulates
with full traceability from rm to finished product for diversified
product ranges. As our operations are 100% vertical, which
means we start from spinning all the way to finished garments,
including printing and embroidery, and various
embellishments.

Meeting Discussion Points:


1. BRAC WASH Background followed by project brief shared with focus specific objective related
to the need for Effluent treatment in the factories.
2. Discuss BRAC's facilitation facilities, from commercial partners and green financing through
financial institutes.
3. Knit Asia Limited. operations are 100% vertical, which means we start from spinning all the way
to finished garments, including printing and embroidery, and various embellishments.
4. The factory management discussed the factory and the present status of ETP and the current
ETP capacity is 170 m3/hr.
5. Next, Zara, Decathlon, American Eagle, and Eddie Bauer are their major buyers of Knit Asia
Limited.
Action points:
1. They expressed interest in a solution to increase the current ETPs capacity 170 m 3/hr. to 600
m3/hr.
2. Factory management has shown interest and has a plan to go into Zero Liquid Discharge.
3. Aamra Resource will communicate with the factory and arrange an exposure visit and they
agreed on the same.
4. Aamra Resource will visit the factory and submit the proposal as per the factory’s requirements.
