It Should not be counted

Caitlyn Jenner claims that Penn Swimmer's accomplishments and achievements should not
be counted by pointing out the transgender athlete Lia Thomas. She has been the champ in
the recent NCAA championship.

The rightful winner is Emma Weyant

Jenner says that Emma Weyant, the native of Sarasota, is only the rightful winner who stood
as the runner up by 1.75 seconds in the women's freestyle race.

Strongly argues

Jenner also strongly argues that Weyant is the one who deserves the 1st position as it was
the women’s 500-yard freestyle race.

It is common sense, she says

Jenner tweeted on Tuesday saying that it is not something like anti-trans or not transphobic,
but it is all about common sense.

Supported Thomas

Also, 72-year-old Jenner completely supported Thomas' decision by saying that Thomas
was being true to her own self.

Women’s sports are to be protected

Jenner's stand is only that women's sports are needed to be protected. It will be completely
unfair and disadvantageous if trans athletes like Thomas compete against biological women.

Differs to from one sport to other

NCAA said that the organization decided the participation of the transgender athletes would
be determined by an approach that differs from one sport to another.

Own set of rules

This means that the national governing bodies for individual sports are responsible for
creating their own set of rules regarding this matter.

Undergone hormone replacement

Thomas started his career in 2017 at Penn in the men's team and had also marked some of
the fastest times in the country. Then In early 2019, Thomas underwent hormone
replacement therapy and came out as trans into the public later that year.
