Stereotypes about the British and American

The British think that all Americans :

are millionaires; live in Hollywood;

The Americans think that all British:

have titles like Lord and Sir; live in castles; prefer old fashionable clothes to new ones; wear bowler hats; are reserved; are old fasionable; are inefficient; love standing on queues; talk with a upper class accent;

wear cowboys hats and carry cameras; have their own swimming pool; talk too much and very loudly; are go-ahead; are efficient; push instead of waiting for their turn; are too friendly;

speak an inferior variety of English. speak a curious dialect of English.

What is a stereotypical British like?? They are considered well mannered, sophisticated people, who are well versed in literature and own at least four purebred bulldogs. British are expected to talk with London accent and to be pompous due to their high rank in society (all British men are Dukes, Earls, Knights, etc) and say things like "Cheerio!" and "Old chap! . They think themselves superior to every culture. They love their tea and spend a lot of their time in pubs drinking beer.

What is the stereotypical American like?? Other cultures might answer with words like fat, loud, and someone who complains a lot or loves guns, or whose personal favorite says is oh myy gooodd all the time. Americans are described as wearing cowboy hats and cowboy boots, holding a camera and handbag, having messy hair with an extremely wide mouth chewing gum. They are said to wear safari clothes. People think they eat junk food 24/7

and are lazy, just looking for the quickest way to get things done. They think we are greedy and power obsessed.
