Listening is one of the most important thing in the field of customer service it can help you
improve your business and help you to see where you might went wrong. Effective listening
can help you gather important information related to your business, and customer feedback is
the best way to understand how they truly feel about the products and services you deliver.
The listening process involves four elements: receiving, understanding, evaluating, and
responding. Receiving advice from your customer is important. Always understand your
customer point of view. Always evaluate an idea of what the customer may need. How you
respond to your customer is very important no matter what always try to be nice. The main
reason why people have a hard time focusing or listening are because they get distracted too
quick, for example most job let their workers care phone on the job site and the phone distract
them or sometimes the conversation is not interesting so the customer lose interest. Strategies
that may be implementing to improve the listening process are let the customer be right, wait
for pause to ask a question, always commit to listen and summarize and ask for confirmation.
