3. BIR documentary stamps

FEES:
The fee shall be computed based on the amount agreed upon in the mortgage
contract. ( Please refer to tariff furnished by the Office of the Registry of Deeds.)

HOW TO COMPUTE DOCUMENTARY STAMP TAX:

First P5,000.00 of the consideration involved in the mortgage contract .. . .

P20.00

Succeeding amount, for every P5,000.00 …………………………………..P10.00

REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION OF CHATTEL MORTGAGE:

1. Tax clearance
2. BIR doc stamps
3. Fees ( Please refer to tariff furnished by the Office of the Registry of Deeds.)
