Title: How to Graft Plants

Purpose: Grafting is a way of vegetative reproduction of plants. The grafting process is carried
out so that the grafted plant has offspring that are much better than the grafted plant, so that
the expected results from the grafting process can be maximized.

Tools and materials:

1. A knife, choose one that is sharp and not rusty,

2. Rope (can be plastic rope or bamboo rope).

3. Transparent plastic or coconut fiber which will later be used to cover the graft,

4. Some soil. Try to use soil that tends to be moist and of course fertile.

5. Mango tree with a trunk diameter of approximately 3 cm

Steps:

1. Look for branches that are medium in size, not too big but not too small

2. Ben a distance of approximately 10cm from the tree trunk

3. Peel off the skin around the branch of the parent mango tree that will be grafted with a peel
length of approximately 5 cm
4.After you have finished peeling, gently scrape the cambium of the mango tree so that it dries
