The MOBA-matic is a control system for machines in the road
construction industry. The Digital Controller is based on a modern
microprocessor technique and has a digital interface. This allows the
possibility of connecting various sensors to the controller. On start-up
the controller automatically identifies the sensor which is connected to

it. If the sensor is changed it must be acknowledged by pressing any

key after start-up.

Sensor:
• Digi-Slope Sensor (Slope sensor)
• Sonic-Ski (Grade sensor)
• Digi-Rotary Sensor (Grade sensor)
• LS 250

tube) Set the counterweight so that

the sensor tube has pressure in a
downward direction onto the string
line. If the string line used as the
reference does not have enough
tension the sensor tube can be set String line
up beneath the string line. Here the
sensing tube must have upward
pressure into the string line.

Ground sensing (with sensing ski)

Set the counterweight so that the
sensor ski at the sensor arm causes
pressure onto the reference.

Preferred by square
paving

It is really easy to mount the LS 250:

1 Open the clamp.
2 Shove the LS 250 over the mast tube.
3 Look the clamp.

15
Assembly Accessory

With the switch unit it is possible to

connect two sensors to one Digital
Controller. The connections
preferred are those for a grade
sensor and for a slope sensor.

By using the sonic-ski sensor you can
change between string line sensing and

If a correction should be necessary

during operation, that can be done as
described - also in automatic mode.

If the mounting position of the Digi-

controllers is exchanged, the set up
procedure must be carried out again.
