economic development program. As we celebrate the National Women’s Month, we are also
celebrating our women’s and youth achievements in different aspects of life.

To formally welcome us all in todays activity, help me welcome our Student

Development Director, Dr. Sarah Jane A. Colina, to deliver her welcome message.

At this juncture, we are very much honored to have with us, an empowered woman
from the Sangguniang Panglungsod, Hon. Carmen Remedios H. Durano to give her
inspirational message. A round of applause please.

MIRA: Thank you so much Ma’am Ivy Durano, indeed we are all inspired by your message, truly
we are very grateful of your presence.

MIRA: Today, the local government unit of Danao City and CTU Danao spearheads Youth and
Women’s Economic Development Program with an objective to improve economic
opportunities to youth and women of Danao City by providing market-relevant skills on
commercial cooking.
We have 20 empowered representatives across the nine clusters. Kindly stand up once your
