Flying for travel vs.

Road trip
Plan:

Introduction Background information: Ever wanted to know what is the best

option of flying or going on a road trip?

Thesis statement: Although many would argue that flying is

exceptionally better than driving, others wouldn’t agree. In this
essay, we will mostly argue why flying is better but look at the
good sides of every aspect.

First Paragraph Topic sentence: Flying, going to the airport, packing your bags,
checking in, and all these issues plague most people but is it
really that bad?

Supporting sentences: Flying can be a much faster and more

efficient way to travel long distances. Rather than spending
several days on the road, you can reach your destination in a
matter of hours. This can be especially beneficial for those with
limited time or for business travel. Additionally, flying allows you to
access destinations that may not be easily accessible by car, such
as remote islands or foreign countries. Furthermore, flying can
also be a safer option because it eliminates the risk of getting in a
car accident which is a common cause of injury and death. In
addition, flying can save a lot of time and energy that can be used
for other activities.

Concluding sentence: Flying is a good option, for almost anyone,

but I would stay away from it if you have large anxiety toward it.

Second Paragraph Topic sentence: Road trips are great, but only for some people.

Supporting sentences: Road trips allow for more flexibility and

freedom to explore along the way. Rather than being confined to a
specific schedule or destination, you can make spontaneous stops
and detours as you wish. Additionally, road trips can be a more
cost-effective option as you avoid expensive airfare and baggage
fees. Traveling by car also allows you to bring along more
belongings and even pets. Furthermore, it is a more
environmentally friendly way of traveling, if you have an electric
car.

Concluding sentence:

Third Paragraph Topic sentence:

Supporting sentences:

Concluding sentence:

Conclusion Summary: Flying is a far greater option if you want to save time,
but driving is cheaper (in most cases), and you can practically
stop anywhere you want, whenever you want. This means you
can make detours and look at amazing places.

Conclusion: Flying is probably the best option, but I would

definitely take a road trip sometime.

I didn’t manage to write a third paragraph as I basically compare them already by bringing up
the good and bad sides of each other in the paragraphs.
