Vic Dobson USEME Recon Run Scenario
Vic Dobson USEME Recon Run Scenario
Set-Up: Team 1 sets up within 3” of the black number 1 on map square 4 on the left hand edge of the map, whilst team 2
sets up within 3” of the black number 2 on map square 6 on the right hand edge of the map. Where allowed, infantry
characters may set up whilst being carried by appropriate vehicle characters.
Special Rules:
1). TERRAIN: All the dark green areas (including the small ones) on the map count as Woods, and are classed as
difficult terrain. Similarly, all buildings are classed as difficult terrain. Vehicle characters may not enter buildings.
The roads are classed as excellent going.
2). Players should not use squad activations - each character should be activated individually in this small game.
Victory: Each team gains 1 Information Point for every red lettered building (A to F) that they enter and spend 1 full turn
(2 activations) searching. The team that gains the most Information Points AND has at least 1 of their teams characters exit
their own sides edge of the table before the end of turn 12 with those Information Points wins.
Some sample Recon Teams: Some sample recon teams are supplied on the next page, and players should select
just 1 of the teams to play! Players can also design their own teams, with the following guidelines: Teams should be kept
small, no more than about a dozen characters per team, and character speeds should be kept low. As this is a reconnaissance
mission, with emphasis on speed and subtlety, vehicles should be kept small and/or lightly armed and armoured - NO BIG,
SLOW, HEAVILY ARMED AND ARMOURED TANKS …
