I am Vivian Chidmma Oramadike, native of Obowo in Imo state by birth, and of Oko kingdom in Delta

State by marriage. I was born in Ikeja, the capital city of Lagos state Nigeria as a first daughter of six
children to Mr. and Mrs. Marcellus Chimezie

I started my educational life at *****nursery and primary school in the year 2222 and afterwards
proceeded to ****** secondary school, Maryland in lagos where I bagged my WASSCE in the year 2000.
Thereafter, I gained admission into the prestigious University of Benin Edo state where I studied Banking
and Finance. I bagged a Second Class (Upper division).

I delved into various job offerings ranging from being an attendant at Mr Biggs betw 2222 and 3333 as
well as teaching btw year 2222 and 3333. Successfully I got a major break in the year 2011 when I got
employed by Channels Television International as a Marketing Executive.

My functions as a Marketing Executive, amongst other things required me interfacing with the reporters
and staff of the editorial desk. This perhaps fueled my interest being a Reporter.

Upon approval of Management, and subsequent training both internally and internationally in
reportorial and journalism, I was posted from the Marketing department as a Marketing Executive to
Reportorial/News desk as the Delta State Correspondent of Channels Television.

In my quest to learn and work towards mastering the journalism profession, I went ahead to attain a
Post Diploma Graduate Degree in Mass Communication at the International Institute of Journalism
affiliated to the University of Maiduguri, Borno state. Infact, Since 2015, when I officially became a
journalist, I have continued to improve on my reportorial, presentation and writing skills as some of the
key areas critical to the journalism profession through trainings and short courses at the Channels TV
academy, the British Broadcast Corporation (BBC) as well as the Voice of America (VOA)

My hobbies are cooking, singing, watching movies and tutoring, I developed love for cooking right from
an early age of ten years old while I watched my mum who is a professional caterer, make different
kinds of meals.

That passion for cooking led to the establishment of Orams kitchen in the year 2020, owned by me to
cater for all kinds of events

Imparting knowledge gained unto others is another avenue I explore in sharpening my communication
skills and I always engage in it whenever the opportunity arises.

Finally, I am married to Engr. A.A. Oramadike, a Principal Civil Engineer in the Delta State Civil Service,
and our union is blessed with three children- Alexander Oramadike, Gerald Oramadike and Chinaza
Oramadike

My interest in pursuing the Master of Media in Journalism and Communications Program at your
prestigious University is borne out of a need to expand my skill set and be a globally competitive media
and mass communicator with experience and knowledge of up-to-date trends, methods and principles
of the profession.

In light of the foregoing, it is my hope and desire that my application for admission is granted.
Thank you
