Eat the frog.

That is the first thing you should do when you wake up in the morning.

Okay! So you’re a vegan. No issues. You could eat the frog too.

Mark Twain once said “If it’s your job to eat a frog, it’s best to do it first thing in
the morning. And if it’s your job to eat two frogs, it’s best to eat the biggest one
first.”

The frog is that one thing on your to-do list that you have no motivation to do. You
absolutely hate it, but you have to get it done. Also, it’s something you planned to do last
night when you went to your bed.

Eating the frog means to just do it, otherwise the frog will eat you meaning that you’ll end
up procrastinating it the whole day. Once that one task is done, the rest of the day will be
an easier ride and you will get both momentum and a sense of accomplishment at the
beginning of your day.

How do you identify your frog ?

Its simple. Divide your work in following categories-

Things you don’t want to do, but actually need to do.

Things you want to do and actually need to do.
Things you want to do, but actually don’t need to do.
Things you don’t want to do, and actually don’t need to do.

The frog is the Things you don’t want to do, but actually need to do.

The main reason we procrastinate is the lack of motivation and interest to do it. We
always feel there’s time for it and end up either missing the deadline or doing it in a shitty
way.

Eat a frog everyday. It would be actually difficult in the beginning. But as you do it,
you will start feeling better and procrastinate less in life. Lets start from tomorrow. :)
