1. WHY IS IT THAT HUMANITIES AND ART HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PART OF MAN’S GROWTH
AND CIVILIZATION?

Arts and Humanities – these two abstracts have always been part of man’s
growth and for the civilization of a certain society. We learn that art is the indisputable
and inevitable which means that everything around us is/are art(s). It is an anything that
engages human activity which results to products that made with creativity or
imaginative talent expressive of conceptual ideas. It also acts as the medium for
humans to have communication with their surroundings in ways such as pictures,
literature, visuals arts, and anything that involves expression of man’s thinking or
beauty. Whereas, we learn that humanities is the study of how people process and
document the human experience which it includes arts as the part of expressing the
experience. Its main components are philosophy, languages, history, law, religion,
politics, human geography, and arts. Thus, humanities are used to understand
comprehend what we perceived through our senses. Humanities help us as well to
visualize or analysize the meaning of a certain art or concepts.

I would also agree that a man expressing his own feeling or thoughts is essential and
therefore, art is significant to understand about the reality of life. It helps a man’s
growth to have personal development and may be also a career or profession. Most of
the artists face many trials about their being into arts or creative, but it is clearly seen
that most of them became notable and known because of who they are – and that is
because they learned art and ended choosing to be who they are. Hence, this is the
main reason why humanities always been part of man’s life because it is the tool why
they understand of their surroundings. Thus, arts and humanities, also play a huge role
in the civilization of the country because it allows the certain country to have improve
tool on expressing their cultures, traditions, and thoughts. It helps also to preserve the
country’s aims to earn peace and progression.

2. WHAT IS THE ROLE OF ART IN MAN’S LIFE?

The role of art In man’s life is to allow themselves to show who they are through
expressing their thoughts, feelings, and understanding towards the reality of life.
Imagination is the precursors of a new invention which can be turned into innovations; it
means that imagination is the beginning of the existence of a certain thing because of the
creativity of mind that allows the thinker to think outside the box. When we embrace the
creativity of our own, we also embrace or appreciate our uniqueness, and therefore, we do
not imitate anyone – we learn to grown of our own and helps us to choose who we really
are. When creativity exists, arts also follow. It is an indisputable that art’s main role in
man’s life is to find the best version of ourselves and allows soul to find happiness, peace,
and resilience in life.

3. GIVE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT THE TEXT.

“ART IS PRESENT IN EVERY PART OF THE GLOBE AND IN EVERY PERIOD OF TIME.”

Everything that our eyes see from our surroundings is arts. Anything that our senses
perceived from our surroundings is the products of arts and humanities. There are already
many periods occur in our world which was named accordingly by years or era. Therefore, it
is always present in every part of the globe because arts exist anywhere that there is life or
human; and it is in every period of time, because every period or years, even every single day,
there is always the existence of adding new structure or contribution of arts.
 Art is timeless and universal which can be similar to the mathematical term like “infinity”
because it does not have limit which it is spanning generations and continents through and
through – for as long there is life, there is always an art molding the mind. Moreover, art’s
main role is to allow a human to express themselves such as inner thoughts and
propagandas, for it is always essential to everyone to have.

4. EXPAND THE LINE.

“ART IS A PRODUCT OF MAN’S CREATIVITY, IMAGINATION, AND EXPRESSION.”

Art is defined first as timeless and universal because it does not have its ending. The
two assumptions of arts is: Art is not nature and it involves experience. It is not nature
because art itself is the man’s expression of his reception of nature which it is their
interpretation towards nature. Because man has always unique experience in life for they have
different problems and status, it is clearly to understand that man has always different way of
thinking which engages creativity, imagination, and own way of expressing. If there is
something that we cannot imitate is the producing or creation an art. Even twin siblings are
different because of the separable mind. Therefore, ourselves is an art because we have our
creativity which we represent who really are, and It can be more beautiful if we allow ourselves
to grow in our own and not minding other perspectives about us. We create art because our
own life experience and how we handle our life’s problems.

Art exists because of human, which are the only species that has the potential to think, to
create, to understand, to earn empathy and sympathy; therefore, the only species that can
highly feel emotions. When we think, we create concepts. There exists a building of thoughts
because we humans always aim to show who we are, what we feel, and what we are fighting
for. Only human can create art for we have the potential to do so, and because we have the
capability to be creative, to imagine things, and to express feelings.

5. FROM THE LISTED POPULAR ART EXPRESSIONS IN THE PPT, CHOOSE ONE THAT YOU
REALLY LIKE AND GIVE YOUR REASONS.

I highly appreciate the existence of all forms of arts, and including the one who create it.
Paintings, sculptures, architecture, films, theatre, dances, literatures, and anything that
creates with uniqueness and creativity – are the things that I give high respect and admiration
because it used to represent something and to show who or what they are. Those art
expressions mentioned above are something that is cannot be imitated. But if I were ask if
which among those varied popular art expression I really like, it would be the “dance”. There
is something I always feel when I watch a certain dance or choreography – the excitement to
do it, too. Because when you are dancing, you are not just making actions for that certain
music, but you are expressing YOU and the meaning of the songs. When you move your body
along the sound, you are giving more life to the purpose of the songs. It is not really easy to
do dancing if you are not passionate to do it; because it requires hours of training, learning of
the techniques and the basic components of dancing, and the motivation you put in yourself
just to make the dance look natural, enjoyable, and provoking to watch.
