1.Bakery
A bakery is an establishment that produces and sells flour-based food baked in an oven such as
bread, cookies, cakes, donuts, pastries, and pies

Awareness of high-quality baked goods is on the rise. Good bread is a rare combination of
nutrition, convenience, and luxury. Today's consumer has less time to create
wholesome ,handmade bread, but increasingly appreciates the nutritional and sensory benefits
it provides .Good bread provides fiber and carbohydrates in a convenient, low fat form that is
portable and delicious. Good bread never goes out of style.

As we have tried to conduct an assessment there is a shortage of bakery shop in the city of Arba
Minch. The supply and demand of bread and other bakery products couldn’t much. And also
the quality that other shops are providing is not satisfying. As a result we are initiated to start
the business as an idea.

The target group is to the people of and around arbaminch. Currently there are some people
engaged in this business which may be competitors .but what makes as special is that we
provide quality products including different cakes and donates.

2.Industrial packaging material

According to Mercer Human Resource Consulting's most recent study Ethiopia is one of
the most dirtiest countries.Another research made by Dr.Yisak Tafere (central statistical agency
executive secretary) states 56% of this untidiness is caused by packaging materials that people
throw away after using what’s packed in. "TSIDU MIRT" is a business that uses recycled
packaging to create various artistically designed products that will safeguard the environment
while also providing trendy, in-demand, competitively priced, and fairly traded goods. Reusing
industrial packaging products inspired by society, such as bags, creative candlesticks, patterned
light bulb sticks, hairbands, and pen handles, is prioritized. The company will compete in a
highly fragmented but competitive market. So it has carefully chosen and combined variety of
promotional strategies into a unique marketing mix to gain as much market share as possible.
After the business started and becomes stable, we have also planned on starting an e-
commerce marketing campaign based on web content, engine search optimization and a brand
promise that sets the store apart from its competitors. TSIDU MIRT will also accept requests
from customers and produce custom-made products.

3.Fast Food
Fast food is a type of mass-produced food designed for commercial resale, with a strong priority
placed on speed of service. It is a commercial term, limited to food sold in a restaurant or store with
frozen, preheated or precooked ingredients and served in packaging for take-out/take-away. Fast
food was created as a commercial strategy to accommodate large numbers of busy commuters,
travelers and wage workers. In 2018, the fast food industry was worth an estimated $570 billion
globally.
Fast food has been popular among students of Arbaminch university. As we have tried to see
most of the student are complaining on the shortage of available fast food. so based on this
complaint we tried to incorporate this to our Business idea.

The products that will be included will be like simple burgers, Sandwich(Erteb), Fries ,different
kind of biscuits and pies.

There are some small business that started the idea and working on it. Unfortunately they are
not providing quality fast foods. There is shortage of items to make the foods, only flour and
potatoes are used, but in our business we will use different ingredients and try to make a
variety and quality food.

4.Cyber Café
There is a good prospect of cyber café business in Ethiopia considering their need as well as
addiction to the internet. An Internet café, also known as a cybercafé, is a café (or a
convenience store or a fully dedicated Internet access business) that provides the use of
computers with high bandwidth Internet access on the payment of a fee. Usage is generally
charged by the minute or part of hour. An Internet cafe will generally also offer refreshments or
other services such as phone repair. Internet cafes are often hosted within a shop or other
establishment. They are located worldwide, and many people use them when traveling to
access webmail and instant messaging services to keep in touch with family and friends. Apart
from travelers, in many developing countries Internet cafés are the primary form of Internet
access for citizens as a shared-access model is more affordable than personal ownership of
equipment and/or software.

As we have tried to conduct a census in the city of Arbaminch there is a complain that there is a
shortage or demand of internet. Most of the people wants to use different social medias
widly.but this is halted because of this.

Our potential coustmers specially focuses on young people. Because there is much faster
globalization proceses taking place.

5.Event Management
Event management is the application of project management to the creation and development
of small and/or large-scale personal or corporate events such as festivals, conferences,
ceremonies, weddings, formal parties, concerts, or conventions. It involves studying the brand,
identifying its target audience, devising the event concept, and coordinating the technical
aspects before actually launching the event.[1]

The events industry now includes events of all sizes from the Olympics down to business
breakfast meetings. Many industries, celebrities, charitable organizations, and interest groups
hold events in order to market their label, build business relationships, raise money, or
celebrate achievement.

The process of planning and coordinating the event is usually referred to as event planning and
which can include budgeting, scheduling, site selection, acquiring necessary permits,
coordinating transportation and parking, arranging for speakers or entertainers, arranging
decor, event security, catering, coordinating with third-party vendors, and emergency plans.
Each event is different in its nature so process of planning and execution of each event differs
on basis of the type of event.
