RATIONALE
Learners with learning difficulties have the same needs and characteristics as other children. Some of them, however, may be less able to organize their
perception or to comprehend abstracts ideas and concepts. Some they have poor memory, poor level of motivation, and short spans of attention in reading or
associated behavioral problems. Above all, owing to encounters of failure they tend to have low expectations of themselves at school, also low aspiration. Non-
Reader or poor readers often have low opinions of themselves and their abilities. Many times, they isolated, and behavior problems can surface. They can
perform poorly in other subjects because they cannot read and understand the materials of the reader tends to give up.
So then, remedial reading program is developed to give additional help Malasiqui 1 District learners who have fallen behind to learn to the best of their abilities
and to bring back into the mainstream classes as far as possible. On the other hand, this project will allow building parent-teacher, stakeholders, LGU’s and
NGO’s relationships and essential for establishing school – family and community partnership that constitute the foundation for all other forms of family
involvement in education.
“Project KAAROK” are providing extra instructional times to help children achieve levels of literacy that will enable them to be successful through their careers
and beyond. Implementing this project for learners who struggle with reading can have a significant and positive impact on their overall literacy skills and
academic success. This intervention is designed to provide targeted and structured support to improve reading abilities and comprehension. Overall, reading
program play a vital role in addressing reading difficulties and empowering learners to overcome challenges, succeed academically, and achieve their full
potential.
