FOOTBALL TRAINING DESIGN


(ELEMENTARY BOYS)

I. OBJECTIVES
General Objective:
A. To equip the players with the skills and techniques necessary for the match game
B. To prepare the cardiovascular and muscular systems of the players in order to prevent
injury during the match games,
C. To be the CHAMPION in the CARAGA Regional Athletic Meet 2019

Specific Objectives of the training:


A. To improve coordination, increase the intensity and develop technical skills,
B. To improve the dexterity of the feet, the use of arms, and sudden acceleration,
C. To improve the frequency and range of passes, and the speed of reaction and action,
D. To practice the correct posture and develop precision and spontaneity,
E. To improve the quality of passing, and to shot with the right and left foot in different
positions,
F. To improve the defense and attacking techniques

II. RATIONALE

Soccer is a simple game to understand. It is a contest between two teams of equal


numbers. Once a team has control of the ball, all the players become part of the attacking
team. Their aim is to control, pass, dribble and shoot the ball across the opponents goal line.
Since then, Football became famous sport to different countries even in the Philippines.
Moreover, this sport became a part of the “Palarong Pambansa”-an annual multi-sporting national
game involving student-athletes from 17 regions of the country organized and governed by the
Department of Education (DepEd).
