ABOUT US

Established on March 31st, 1983 PT Beton Perkasa Wijaksana, as one of


the pioneers in POLAGROUP, is the first company in Indonesia engaging in
formwork, scaffolding and engineering.

PT Beton Perkasa Wijakasa has now become the market leader in


formwork, scaffolding, and engineering for building, civil and industrial
construction projects, trusted by domestic and multinational contractors,
as well as joint operations.

This is due to our reliable and strong support consisting of design


engineering, construction drawing, structure calculation and site
supervision that has been proven in more than 3,000 mid and large-
scale projects in Indonesia and the Asia Pacific. Some of our well-known
projects include the Cawang-Tanjung Priok flyover, Harbour Road toll way
and Jakarta Outer Ring Road in Indonesia, and the Metro Manila Skyway
in the Philippines.

PT Beton Perkasa Wijaksana also supports the government program of


local content, in which we began to manufacture locally in Indonesia from
1985 to support domestic as well as the Asia Pacific construction market
needs. Keeping up with Globalization and to meet global market demand
and standards, we implemented ISO standards in 1997. Our management
system is now certified with ISO 9001. Along with this certification, our
product quality is guaranteed through the DIN 1090-2 certification by GSI
SLV Munchen.
WHAT IS STEEL
FABRICATION?

“Fabrication” itself is a process making something (both steel fabricator


and non-steel fabricator) from raw material into something. In this case,
the raw material is steel and the process includes:

WHY DO WE
NEED STEEL
FABCRICATION

Steel is widely used in the industry because of its characteristic and its
strength. However, it comes in a raw material format such as metal sheet,
rod, or bar which can’t be used directly.

After going through the first four process, the fifth process (assembly)
uses those parts or components and turns the component into something
made specifically to fullfill a certain need. As the world continue on
developing, the metalwork fabrications has become fundamental and
everything would not be the same without it.
DESIGN &
ENGINEERING

With a team of experts in their fields equipped with adequate facilities and
software, we can provide you with any design and engineering processes
that matches your needs. We also provide 3D scanner for Reverse
Engineering. We strive to continuously improve our steel fabrication
processes through continuous improvement.

INSPECTION
FACILITIES

During the manufacturing and assembly process, quality protocols and


secondary verifications are in place to ensure uniformity and quality
standards are met. Quality standards are ensured through each stage
processes. The machines and inspection tools are validated periodically to
ensure its quality and performance standards are met. A final inspection is
conducted in the finishing area to ensure all accessories and components
are in good condition prior to shipping.

GALVANIZE
FACILITIES

PT Beton Perkasa Wijaksana Galvanize facilities, established in 2013,


specializes in large-scale and industrial projects for hot dip galvanizing.
With many years of experience, we excel in delivering quality, fast-time
process, and excellent galvanizing service to our clients. Our kettle size
is 7.5 meters x 1.5 meters x 2.4 meters (LxWxD), and consists of 12
hoists with 2 tons capacity. It means that we can handle large size steel
components.

We used EN ISO 1461, ASTM A123, and SNI


07-7033-2004 as the guidelines for zinc coating
(galvanizing) for the hot-dip process on iron and
steel products. This makes sure that the quality
meets international standards in terms of
thickness/weight, finish, appearance, and
inspection. The average thickness of coating for all
specimens tested shall conform to the standard
requirements. The product will be fully coated, free
of flux deposits and dirt. The galvanize process will
not change the main function of the material.
COATING
FACILITIES

With the most recent in powder coating technology innovation and


hardware, we delivers a superior finish. Powder Coating is applied
with specialised electrostatic equipment as a dry powder which is then
cured in our stoves. We gives you the best in powder coating finishes
that meet the good quality standards for a wide range of products
including variety of metal and aluminium surfaces and products.

Blast cleaning is the process of forcibly shoving an abrasive material


SANDBLASTING
against the surface with high pressure hence it is an effective technique
FACILITIES for removal of paint and rust. Our team at Beton Perkasa Wijaksana
includes experience sandblasters who can carry out professional
and precise sandblasting work to remove rust, grime, and unwanted
paint. Our sandblasting chamber system ensures a lasting superior
finish with exceptional attention to detail. Cleaning the surface through
sandblast process prior to painting or galvanizing will produce a better
adhesion and longer durability of coating.
