Q4. If an angle is 30° more than one half of its complement, find the
measure of the angle?
SECTION-B (3*6=18)
Do any six
Q7. Draw the graph of linear equations x-2y= 1 and 2x+y= 7 on same graph paper and find their common
point.
Q8. ΔOAB is an isosceles triangle lies in Ist quadrant where O is origin and B lies on x-axis with sides OA=
AB= 13 units and OB= 10 units. Find the coordinate of the vertices.
Q10. The mean of the following data is 20.6. Find the value of p.
X 10 15 p 25 35
f 3 10 25 7 5
Q12. (i) If the difference of the mode and median of a data is 24, then
find the difference of the median and mean.
(ii) Find Range of data: 25, 67, 45, 24, 30, 56, 86, 31, 43
Q14. The distribution of heights (in cm) of 96 children is given below. Construct a histogram and a frequency
polygon on the same axes.
Q15. If PQ ⊥ PS, PQ || SR, ∠SQR = 28° and ∠QRT = 65°, then find the
values of x and y.
Q17. Plot the point P (-2 , 3 ) on the graph paper. Plot the reflection of point P in the x-axis and y-axis and
denote them as Q and R respectively. Name the triangle PQR so formed and find its area.
Q19. (i) In the given figure, PS is median produced upto F and QE and
RF are perpendiculars drawn from Q and R, prove that QE = RF.
(ii) Find a and b if

Q20. Two cell-phone companies offer different packages. Company A charges a fixed monthly fee of 34 plus
0.5/minute talk time Company B charges a fixed monthly fees of 40 plus 0.4/minute talk time. Take x as
the charges per minute for the talk time and y as the total amount. Based on the above information,
answer the following questions:
(i) Linear equations representing the packages of company A and B are
(ii) If the average number of minutes used monthly by Sunil is 1160, then which of the following is true?
(iii) If Sunita pays a total bill of 208 to company B, then the number of minutes used by her are
(iv) The shape of the graphs represented by the equations in part (a) is
(v) The number of minutes of talk time that results in equal monthly bills from both companies is
