Hack4Earth Event Plan 🌎

Overview
Hack4Earth is a premier hackathon event cultivating the creative potential of young minds to
ideate, innovate, and pave the way for a sustainable future through the power of technology.
The event has been split up into two distinct categories, the “Hackathon” and the “Ideathon”, to
provide a platform for designers, coders, artists, and storytellers to innovate for a brighter
future. Registration is free, and we expect 450+ participants across the world in total;
additionally, we currently have 10+ reputable sponsor companies such as Wolfram.

The Ideathon challenges participants to unleash their creativity and pitch groundbreaking
ideas that address pressing sustainability challenges in areas such as water and waste
management, healthcare, and education. On the other hand, the Hackathon invites them to
bring these ideas to life through the development of fully working applications that make use
of software and hardware in some capacity. Hack4Earth is open to all students aged 13+
across the world and is being hosted virtually through three platforms: Zoom for video
conferencing, Discord for communication among participants, and Devpost for submissions
and judging.
