GOOD CAUSE Calling All Artists for Habitat ReStores Recycled Art Show and Auction! Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanitys ReStore is seeking artist participation in their second annual Recycled Art Show and Auction. Artists will receive a $50 voucher and are asked to utilize at least one recycled item from the Habitat ReStore. Deadline for artwork submission is December 5, 2011. Artwork will be displayed for three weeks at the Spirit Room in Fargo and the final art show and silent auction will be held on February 4, 2012. Dress for Success Fundraiser - On Friday, October 21st, Dress for Success will sponsor its annual fundraiser, Dress for Success, Inside and Out. This wonderful organization supports and assists disadvantaged women as they work towards finding a job and developing a career. They rely on donations of new/used business clothing to help women present themselves in an optimal way for those ever important interviews. This event will be held from 9:30a-noon at the Hawley High School Auditorium and will include a brunch, musical entertainment from Linda Bray,silent auction and Lia Sophia jewelry sales as well.
