Strategic Media Planner

The Position

A Media Agency located in Ikeja area of Lagos is looking to hire a sound, strategic media
planner with proven track record of uncommon creativity and ideas, to lead their media
planning function.

The role is responsible for managing the development and implementation of media
strategies for both global and local clients of the hiring Company .

The media Planning Strategist will report directly to the Managing Director and will be
responsible for the following;

 Leading a team of media planners and buyers to provide media services for their
clients.
 Displaying excellent client management skills
 Contributing to the growth of the Company’s billings and Profitability
 Managing the team to ensure operational efficiency
 Training and supervising team members to deliver GRP-based media solutions to
client briefs.
 Driving the client’s foray into digital media planning/buying.
 Leading on all pitch opportunities and presentations

The Person

The ideal candidate for these positions:

 Holds at least a bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.

 Must have excellent understanding and application of Data
 Must have excellent communication skills (Verbal and written)
 Excellent social skills
 Must have excellent presentation skills
 Has a proven (6 years +) track record in media planning and strategy.
 Is a savvy business leader with demonstrated eye for profitability.
 Has significant team leadership experience.
 Possesses excellent media planning skills . Knowledge of Digital media marketing is
added advantage
 Is a fluent English speaker.

The Remuneration
The role offers a monthly salary between N200,000 and N350,000 monthly net. Other
benefits are also available
